Mission and Facility

Theatre Artists Studio is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization designed to provide a professional theatre resource for our members and for our community.

The Studio is a member organization of actors, directors, playwrights, producers and designers founded to provide a place for theatre artists to work at their craft in an atmosphere which fosters mutual growth and collaboration through Studio affiliation.  The Studio provides interaction between its members and the community by providing an opportunity to produce innovative projects, mentor emerging talent and establish an educational resource to celebrate the power and imagination of theatre.

The Studio facility comprises 8000 square feet with two stages. The production stage (pictured above) is a circular thrust stage designed to capture the audience. 

Seating for public productions is limited to a total of 96 divided into three sections, each tiered in four rows. This design allows audience members to feel as though they are a part of the story unfolding on stage: the energy radiates throughout the house!

Workshops and member group activities are held on the rectangular thrust stage (pictured below). Seating is informal and flexible, designed to meet the needs of whatever activity may be unfolding: acting classes, movement study, voice instruction or writers group meetings.

The Studio is available for use by

non-members.
