Carol MacLeod - President
Carol is a founder and President of the Theatre Artists Studio Board, has been a theatre professional for over 40 years. She began her career in New York as a stage and television actress but then extended her love of theatre into the areas of producing, directing and teaching as well. As a Valley resident, Carol was one of the founders of the Actors Theatre of Phoenix and served as its first Artistic and Managing Director. She also served as the Director of the Arizona Theatre Company's Encompass (Outreach) Program and was an original member of the Phoenix Arts Commission. Teaching has always been an important part of Carol's career. She taught at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City and in Phoenix for the Phoenix Center for the Performing Arts, The Arizona Theatre Company, The Actors Theatre and The Herberger Theater Center's "Stages" Program. Prior to her return to Phoenix in 2000, she was a member of the faculty at the University of Notre Dame for seven years both in the Department of Theatre and the Department of English. For the past six years she served as Fine Arts Coordinator at Xavier College Preparatory developing staff and curriculum for their Fine Arts Program. At present she is teaching and producing at The Studio.

Steven Mastroieni - Vice President
Steven has appeared in leading roles and character parts, in many stage productions, here and abroad, as well as film and television. He is a member of the Actors Equity Association (AEA), Screen Actors Guild (SAG) and American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA). He studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, The Drama Studio London at Berkley and is an alumnus of Arizona State University (ASU). Mr. Mastroieni has appeared in more than 50 productions for various theatres. He has also appeared as a guest artist in several shows for ASU. Mr. Mastroieni appeared in A Certain Release, a live digital performance piece at ASU and most recently performed as Max in On Things/In Things, an Explosion of Harold Pinter's The Homecoming at ASU. He is pleased to currently serve on the Board of the Phoenix Fringe Festival. He appeared in the Principle Role of Nick in Desert Bloom, a film produced by Sundance Institute/Columbia Pictures. He has also performed a variety of character roles in films made for television. His resume includes international stage credits as well. Mr. Mastroieni is President and CEO of Key Realty Inc., a Commercial Real Estate Brokerage. He has also been a Director and V.P. of Unicorp, Inc. a Commercial Real Estate Development Company.

Judy Lebeau - Treasurer
Judy Lebeau thanks Carol MacLeod for the opportunity to be a founding member of The Studio. She is a twice nominated ariZoni actress who has appeared on our stage in Edward Albee’s Marriage Play (Jillian), Eleemosynary (Dorothea), Munched, Riding to Bethlehem, The Temporary Queen, Sudz, Father Christmas and the Snow Queen and New Summer Shorts. Judy has worked with several local theaters including Actor’s Theatre of Phoenix: A Lesson from Aloes (Gladys), The Immigrant (Ima), Yesterday’s Hero (Leslie), Shot in the Dark (Dominique), Accomplice (Janet/Erica), Nuts (Lavinsky), A Shayna Maidel (Luisa), and Middle Ages (Myra). Arizona Jewish Theatre: Twilight of the Golds (Phyllis). Phoenix Theatre: Two for the Seesaw (Gittel) and Beyond Therapy (Prudence). Her film and television credits include Disney’s Not Quite Human and Match Point, NBC’s Unsolved Mysteries and Search for Tomorrow, Mel Brooks’ The Vagrant, Cannon Films’ Ninja III, CBS’ Rescue 911, Columbia Pictures’ The Child Stealers and Out of Focus. She has been a member of SAG, AFTRA and AEA and is grateful to have been cast in dozens of national commercials including spots for Tide, Ford, Delta Airlines, American Psychiatric Association and Gatorade. With a strong commitment to community service, Judy has served on the Boards of Directors of the National Conference of Community & Justice, Samaritan Health Services, City of Phoenix Motion Picture Task Force, Jewish Community Center and the Children’s Cancer Center, where she successfully led an effort to endow Camp Rainbow, a summer camp for children with cancer.
